I have left you for Blogspot

it's not you, it's me.

I'll still be around to check out on stuff,

but now my life will be exploited on a different site.

Please don't cry.

Yours Truly,
Sam Ramirez

P.S. My totally fantabulously cool username is about 80% of the reason why I needed a change... I hope you understand

So I haven't posted anything in what looks like about 3 months....

Summer is finally over, I had a very up and down summer. HAIR was a great success, unfortunately, the show ended in tragedy. It's a very long and drawn out story which I don't really believe is any of LJ's business, so if anyone wants to know, drop me a line, or facebook me, cuz God knows I'm addicted to it.

After HAIR was PIRATES OF PENZANCE at the Kindleberger Festival. Holy. Shit. What the hell was I thinking? It was a fun show, but I wanted to drop it every chance I could.

Then I moved out of my house. That was a situation that I never want to be in ever again. Period

For the month of August, I lived in Adelina Feldman-Schultz's utility closet in her basement. I have never felt so homeless ever in my life. But we had a good time. Now I moved back onto campus and live in a super single in Smith Burnham hall away from any freshmen/anyone in the department. I need that time to myself.

FOr any of you that knows what's going on, My Dad and I are now speaking again. That whole fiasco is over. Thanks for all your support.

Now TOMMY is happening in Grand Rapids. It's a pretty sweet frickin show. I get to beat up a twelve year old kid and put him in a trash can. Holler.

In 495, our first scene was "We Do Not Belong Together" from Domingo En El Parque Con George... which was my directing scene last year with Ahren Rehmel and Kendra Kargenian. That was pretty easy. My Dot was Alicia Thoel, it was nice working with her, I really hadn't had a full conversation with her in about a year and a half, so it was great catching up with her. Now Kayla Peabody, Emily Iaquinta, and I are doing "Been a Long Day" from HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS, I'm super excited for that scene.

Also in MT History, Andrea Arvanigian, Kayla Peabody, Ryan Mayes, and myself are writing a 10 minute musical entitled "It's Brintey Bitch: A Greek Tragedy" get excited

how do you say goodbye to someone who comes into your life and fills the position of your little sister?

how do you say goodbye to someone so young?

how do you say goodbye to a beautiful girl that no one will ever get to know the way that we all did?

got your attention, huh!

But honestly, that's what I'm here to talk about

Today I took my clothes off on stage for the first time ever (now, Granted it was during a rehearsal) and I just want to say that it is the single freest most liberating experience I have ever been through as a performer.

We all were so scared and then the moment came and we just stripped down. Words cannot even express how amazing the "sensation" was knowing that it was only me out there with nothing else.

If any of you get a chance to come to Kalamazoo (I know right) and see HAIR, I guarantee you will walk away knowing that the 3 hour trip was totally worth it.

*Life is around you and in you

I won't walk on water
I am no prince

But I will stand behind
and be SOmeone to fall back on

I'll put you in a world of pain tonight
Come on come on come on come ON!

I know some people will search the world
to find somethign like what we have
I know people will try try to divide

August Rush is an amazing movie

I don't care what ANYBODY else has to say about it

I like the fact that it's completely predictable

and also that I got to see it twice with the most amazing person ever
